Getting to Soarin via WS entrance at rope drop?

We are staying at BC Villas in February! If we plan to walk to Epcot and get there at Rope drop or before of course and I want to go straight to Soarin is that easy or possible? Do they let you walk so far in where there are ropes or is it a further walk then if we went in the main entrance? Hope that makes sense! Thanks!!

Its possible, but its a decent hike to get there. How would you get to the main entrance anyway? Its walking or boat from beach club. I have never been at rope drop, so I don't know how far you could get in at that point. I know world showcase is supposed to be closed, but I believe Frozen opens early.

The times we've stayed at BC we went to EMH (8am). We were through the turnstiles before 8 and they held us at the top of the hill, at the start of U.K. Pavilion, until rope drop time. It's about a 3-10 minute WALK (no running) depending upon your speed. Chances are your Soarin' wait will either be walk on or the next showing even if you are slow. I've not done regular 9am opening at the Gateway, but when I drive and park, walk from the front gate, the people from the gateway are arriving at about the same time. No advantage either way. (I'm one of the slow walkers- I like to look at the birds and squirrels while I asking). Have a great trip!

We're Board Walk people and we never have a problem walking on to Soarin' at RD via the IG.

It is about a 0.7 mile walk from BC through International Gateway over to The Land pavilion. They will drop the rope at IG at the same time they drop the rope at the front of the park.

From the IG rope to The Land is about 0.4 miles
Those coming in the front entrance will have about a 0.3 mile walk to The Land.
It will make no difference. You should have 0 wait when you arrive at Soarin' if you get to IG before they drop the rope.
