My family of 5 will be staying at the Dolphin this summer.

If we wish to take in SeaWorld for a day, what is our best option
for getting there? Cost of transportation? Hassles?

Thanks.

If you calculate your cost of getting from MCO to WDW and back and then add whatever it'll cost to get from WDW to SeaWorld and back, I'll bet you're pretty close to the cost of a Dollar rental car. No, I don't work for them, I've just found them to be the best all around bargain at MCO. At WDW it's great to have wheels to visit resorts and AK. AK busses seem too infrequent to us. We lost 1.5 hrs getting from AK to MGM kast March. We'll drive next trip.

I took the Mears shuttle from the Grovesnor to Seaworld and it cost us $10 per person, round trip.

Depending on what kind of time you have...SW also has the 2nd day free after purchase of 1st day....we have gone there 3 times and always need at least 1/2 of the 2nd day....kids just love to feed the dolphins and pet them for an hour or so..plus the shows. You have to see Clyde and Seymore show....it's priceless. Check out the SW forum on these boards. I guess my point is, if you think you'd go 2 days, renting a car may not be a bad idea, but once we got to WDW we NEVER used our car:rolleyes: I think DOLLAR had a mini-van price of 209 for a week....before tax/etc. Check the codes on Mary's site. You will really enjoy SW, there aren't as many food options as at the WDW parks, and go on Atlantis...but you will get wet!!!!!
