I am so surprised this is proving to be complicated... thought it'd be a slam dunk easy one!

We are staying at the the Royal Pacific Hotel on site at Universal, and spending 2 days at Universal/IOA. One evening we've got tickets to go over to SeaWorld for their Luau.

Any advice on how I'd get my family of 5 from either RPH or Universal/City Walk to SeaWorld?

The trolley doesn't seem to stop anywhere near Universal - which is plain crazy. There is a courtesy shuttle from our hotel to SeaWorld but it only leaves in the morning and returns in the evening for full day park visitors.

Thanks!
Stephanie

We used ecab Orlando last time we were down and they were really cheap and affordable. The driver was excellent to and had lots of interesting info about Orlando.

We cabbed it from our universal resort. Hated the free shuttle. It was around 25-26 with tip.

From Mapquest:

Universal City Walk-Seaworld Orlando

1. Start out going WEST on UNIVERSAL STUDIOS PLZ toward BACKLOT BLVD.
2. Turn LEFT onto CR-439 S/TURKEY LAKE RD/TURKEY LAKE RD S.--- 2.0 mi
3. Turn LEFT onto SAND LAKE RD W/W SAND LAKE RD.
4. Merge onto I-4 W toward DISNEY WORLD/TAMPA.----- 1.7 mi
5. Merge onto SR-528-TOLL E via EXIT 72 toward SR-528-TOLL E/INT'L AIRPORT/CAPE CANAVERAL/SEA WORLD/INTERNATIONAL DRIVE (Portions toll).
6. Take the INTERNATIONAL DR exit, EXIT 1.
7. Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the ramp toward SEA WORLD.
8. Turn LEFT onto INTERNATIONAL DR.
9. Turn RIGHT onto CENTRAL FLORIDA PKWY.
10. Seaworld Entrance will be on your right. Big Seaworld sign out front. --- 0.2mi

Total distance: 7 1/2 miles or 14 minutes

Enjoy the Luau! Its a great show and great food!

If it were me, I would walk to Wet N Wild (about a 15 min walk) then get the trolley or the Lynx to Seaworld. You can always pay out for a taxi to get back again if you are tired.

I don't think the walk over to International drive is too bad to take the trolley over.

Thank you all for your advice! Greatly appreciate it. With 2 little kids who will be walking all day around unviersal, I am thinking a cab is the way to go.
