I assume it is possible to get to Sanaa from the main AKL building?

Is it an outside path or do you go through the AKL lobby?

You go through akl lobby and out, down the steps and walkway to the right

hth

about a 5 min walk. We enoyed Sanaa and also the stay at Kidani; nice pool at Kidani. The buses stop at Jambo and Kidani but cannot remeber which order, might be worth checking

Forgot that the park buses would probably stop at Kidani as well. I will probably get off at Jambo anyway to have a good wonder round :)

Except that the buses stop at Kidani first so you may as well get off there.

I would just use the bus - the walk isnt the most scenic - you just go past all the ugly parking garages.

As a complete aside, Sanaa is a lovely little restaurant and I particularly liked the bar area (no surprises there :rolleyes1), but, as a curry lover, you're going to be a bit underwhelmed with the level of seasoning. I don't mean to put a dampener of things, but it's worth keeping your expectations in check. :thumbsup2

I mentioned this to our server after our last meal at Sanaa. We were lucky to be there the day after their opening day and the spice was great, but it seems that they've toned it down since (probably too much for the locals). Anyway, our server said that you can request a little extra spice when you order. I always go for the beef and the chicken. On our last trip I found the chicken to be ok but mild, but the beef was way too mild and needed a lot more spice.

So if you're a curry lover then be sure to mention that you can handle a little more spice. I just worry that they'll go vindaloo style

I will certainly ask for the spice level to be increased :)

Vindaloo is ideal for hot weather, it makes you sweat more and so cools you down :)
Probably need to put your room toilet paper in the fridge over night though :scared1:

The sign of an excellent curry :goodvibes
