Getting to Resort Restaurants from POP

Hello!

What is the best way to get to 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's from POP? Is there a way to do this without using a park ticket?


I am thinking of scheduling an ADR on a day when we are unsure of which park we may want to go to (we don't have park hoppers) so I didn't want to have to use a park ticket for MK that day.

For either of them you could take the MK bus and then take the Monorail. There is also a walkway to go to the CR or a boat to go to the GF. The bus doesn't take you inside the park-and you don't catch the monorail or boat from inside either No park ticket needed!

No problem. Just so you know, coming from the MK, the CR is the first stop and the GF is the last stop so it may or may not be easier to take the boat to the GF.

When I do it, I walk to the Contemporary and usually take the boat to the Grand Floridian from the bus depot.

For the walk:
You'll have to walk towards the Magic Kingdom entrance to get around the bus depot. Before you enter the Security area, just follow the sidewalk to the right, parellel to the monorail line. It's a quick walk.

There are many boat launches, but at least the signs for each resort are easily spotted. The Grand Floridian is the first stop, and you'll have to walk a little to get to the main building.

We took the bus from POP to MK and walked to CM. The walk was easy- maybe 10 minutes. I had asked the same question and was told the walk from the bus was about 10 minutes or walk 8 minutes to Monorail and ride it over to CR- depending on the wait it could be a lot longer than walking...

Taking a bus to the MK and then the monorail or water taxi to the resort. However, if it's really early in the AM, you may want to consider a taxi.
