Getting to Poly after MVMCP

To all my expert DIS buddies. Going back to Poly after MVMCP would you recommend the monorail or bus? It's just me and hubby so we plan on probably being in the park pretty late taking advantage of the open rides and it will be a Tuesday night (Dec. 12th) Thanks!

I think your options are monorail or boat. I don't think there is a bus.

I would go boat, but it's going to be slow either way.

There is no bus service between Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort,but there is boat service,which I would suggest using if there is no line.It is really a fun ride,especially at night.Have fun!

Agree, no bus. Keep in mind that since Poly is just 5 minutes from TTC you can also take the TTC monorail or the ferryboat...so grab whichever of the 4 options looks like the shortest line.

Crowds thin pretty quickly at MVMCP after the second parade...my guess is if you really do stay late the TTC monorail will be your best bet--going the right direction makes up for the walk back

They do not run the boat (or any of the boats)for approx. 20 minutes prior to the start of the fireworks until they end. They set off the fireworks all over the lagoon from barges so have to keep the water clear. Since you are planning on staying late this shouldn't be an issue. I would walk by the Poly boat launch, ask the CM if you will fit on the next boat. If the answer is no, the ramp to the resort monorail is right next to the Poly dock.
