getting to Petty driving?

We are staying at OKW and have no idea how to use the bus system to get to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Can this be done? Please help.

If you are going to the afternoon session, then take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, then take the monorail to the TTC. When you get off the monorail walk over to the Kennel/Lost and Found. There is a Richard Petty van there that will transport you to the racetrack.

If you are going early in the morning, you generally have to be there about 7:30. I would take a cab. The earliest breakfast bus to the MK would be about 6:30, then you would have to use the same steps above to get over to Richard Petty. That is just cutting it too close.

but, the time to be there depends on if youre doing the ride along or driving yourself.

if you are doing the ride along....it's open from 9 am to 4 pm, and it's first come first serve.

have fun! my dh did the drive along in december and loved it! now he wants to do the driving one next time....

The only experience we've had is with the driving one. Our friend did the early morning one and had to be at the track at 7:30. We had a car that trip, so dropped him off and parked at MK. We went to MK in the morning while he did his training. Then he called when they went out to the track. We then drove over to the track and got to watch him drive. It was lots of fun.
