Getting to parks with Early Entry Hour

Evening all....

I have what may be a dumb question - if buses start running an hour before the parks open for regular hours, how does one get from their resort to the early entry parks on Disney transportation? Or do we have to drive? Does this make sense?

not dumb at all, all resort buses start running an hour before the park opens for the guests of that resort, so on an Epcot early admission day, the buses would start running at 7:00 for an 8:00 early opening, whereas the MK, AK etc. busses wouldn't start running till 8:00 for a 9:00 opening.

What about the boats from WL to MK on EMH mornings? Do they run earlier too, or do you have to take the bus?

If you do decide to drive to the park instead of taking the buses, had anyone ever run into a problem being admitted to the parking lot early on EE days.

I've stayed many a time at WL myself, and while I don't know 100% for sure, I believe the boats do run earlier on MK EE days.

Hi Chip!

That seems to make sense, but I remember in another member's trip report, he stated that routinely he'd be waiting at the bus stops shortly past 7AM for a bus to an EMH park, but they were always late in arriving. Instead, busses for the other parks would run early, even though the parks weren't opening until 9AM.

Doesn't seem to make much sense! I hope this isn't a trend, or else I'll be running to the Alamo desk and begging for a rental car, stat!

Only in title. I wish I did know everything about that place, that is why I stay there everytime I go.

And if you have stayed there many a time, then how come WL Vet isn't in your siggie?

We always do EE and have never had a problem with buses getting us there well before opening. As a matter of fact in summer 01 we were one of the 1st at the gate for EE and my kids were chosen to open the park with wands and pixie dust and all!!!
