Getting to MK from Marathon Finish Line?

What's the quickest way to do this? We'll be cheering for DH at the finish line. He's heading back to the hotel with his running buddies to recover and the kids and I are hitting MK.

We're staying at WL but would it be quicker to catch the GF bus and hop the monorail?

I would say monorail but play it by ear. If the monorail line is too long, the buses are just a little past the monorail stop. The year I stayed on the monorail, I found it took 2-3 trains to get on and then 1 train to change at the TTC.

Another thought would be to take the bus to the Contemporary and walk to MK from there, it's a short stroll.

I have thought about this all day - Can you actually bus to a monorail resort from Epcot? I am thinking that one can bus up to TTC but did not think that buses made the remainder of the loop. I know one can bus for either of these two resorts to all other parks. I have looked for the old transportation matrix and cannot seem to find tonight.

You know, Coach, I don't think you can. I would think just taking the Epcot monorail to TTC and then transferring to MK monorail would be the quickest way.

You know, Coach, I don't think you can. I would think just taking the Epcot monorail to TTC and then transferring to MK monorail would be the quickest way.

Correct, you cannot take a direct bus from Epcot to MK. In fact, I don't think you can take a direct bus from Epcot to TTC either, if you wanted to. From the Epcot front entrance, the fastest way to get to MK is monorail (transferring at TTC). If you were close to the IG entrance of Epcot, it might be faster to walk to Beach Club or Boardwalk and take a direct bus to MK.

If you do not want to wait for monorail, you can bus to Wilderness Lodge, and then bus or boat to MK.
