Getting to MK from Coronado Springs - car or bus?

Hello. I will be staying at Coronado Springs next week and planning to visit MK on Monday. I will have a rental car, but I was reading the Unofficial Guide table of transit times and it indicates that you can generally get to MK faster on the shuttle bus vs driving your car. It seems like this could be the case once you factor in parking, going to the TTC and then taking a monorail (or the tram, I forgot which) over to the entrance.

What have your experiences been? Does the shuttle bring you straight to the entrance of the park? Which do you think has worked better. Thanks!

For the MK, bus is better. The bus will take you to the entrance of the park. Your car will take you to the parking lot where you get a tram to the TTC where you either monorail or boat to the MK.

I stayed at coronado recently and was very impressed with the buses there. Much better than saratoga imo. They were always there, rarely crowded, we didn't have to wait long at the bus stop. And I think the location was nice cause no park felt like it took a long time to get to. I'd totally stay there again for that.

with a car you will have at least one form of transportation to get to park gate most likely 2. if you have a stroller with your group you will have to fold for the tram or walk to the TTC to get either the monorail or boat. to get you to the gate. bus will also mean folding stroller for bus ride but you are let off near the gate. then in evening as you leave most likely with many others you are going to have a line for buses but you will also have a line for either the boat or the monorail and then another line for the tram to your car

CSR has great bus service, sits at the entrance ramp to highway direct to MK so no side streets. While I do drive from other resorts sometimes, I never consider it at CSR.

We've stayed at CSR 3 times, for a total of 28 days. We have never waited longer than 15 minutes for a bus - ever. I can also count on one hand how many times a bus was full and we had to stand. They have fantastic bussing there, and I wouldn't consider a rental car while staying there.
