Getting to MK during half marathon

We just added a day to our January trip, and I’d like to end the week at MK. That would put us there on Saturday of Marathon weekend. How difficult will it be to get there that morning via bus from the Boardwalk?

Probably not difficult at all. I was at WDW last year during the marathon weekend. The race starts in the very early morning hours, and the racers have their own transportation. I'm not certain of the race route - it may go through MK, but they will likely be mostly done by the time you would get there. The marathon can affect transportation routes because the runners take over some of the roads, but the bus drivers know how to get around that.
