Wanna play again?

Still keeping with the food theme of the week...

What is your favorite lunch meat?

Well, I'm usually reaching for ham & swiss for a sammie, or tuna.

However, I have been known to have a liverwurst and onion w/ mayo on white...a total throw back from when I was a kid, and now is a comfort food.

My favorite is a club- turkey, ham, and roast beef. I don't use any condiments, just lettuce and tomato with my meat.

If it's just for the lunches I pack for work, it's Oscar Mayer Honey Roasted Turkey. Good stuff!

At a deli or sandwich shop, it's usually chicken salad or turkey and bacon! I'm also a fan of Subway's chicken/bacon/ranch. . .only without the ranch!

hard one......i worked in a deli right out of high school so i'm kinda partial to the italian grinder. but i feel like i should say oven roasted turkey breast. because that's what i eat the most. i'm a huge turkey fan. can't wait to have thanksgiving turkey sandwich with lettuce, stuffing, cranberry&mayo mixed togther. oh YUMM-O!

We have a very popular sub shop around here, and they make a sub called "The Bobbie". Homemade turkey, stuffing, mayo and cranberry sauce on a sub roll...it's soooo yummy!!

They also have a "Slaw-b-joe", which is homade roast beef, provalone, and homemade cole slaw on a sub roll....mmmmmm....

OH, and of course, the "Original Philadelphia Cheesesteak", can't beat an original!

I'm not a big lunch meat person anymore. Used to love hoagies growing up, but can't find a decent one anymore. Subway is NOT a hoagie.

I do prefer Chicken or Tuna salad over sliced meat.

oh yummy! the best one i ever had was at the Earl of Sandwich on our 1st day of our trip last year. it was to die for!

My favorite lunch meat would be ham, then lettuce, cojack cheese and tomato to finish it off. But I prefer chicken salad over that.

I :lovestruc liverwurst. Hmm, now I am going to have a craving for liverwurst and cheese, with mayo on toast. Totally comfort food.:)

I absolutely LOVE salami. It is so bad for you, but tastes so good. :cool1: Don't have it that often. Mostly eat Boars Head Golden Chicken Breast.

I am not a lunch meat fan. I do like a good tuna or chicken salad though.

I don't eat mammals, so that pretty much only leaves turkey or chicken. I don't really do sandwiches unless I am eating a good sub though, so no matter.

When faced with a lunch place like that, I usually go for grilled cheese or PB&J, or if they have it, a chicken cheese steak with American.

Ooh!!!! Earl of Sandwich!!! I can't wait to eat there in March. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich is my favorite!! I'm craving one now!

I love a good roast beef sandwich but can't afford roast beef too often. I also really like tuna.

now I'm craving a sub from a real sub shop where I went to college!

I like chicken salad, tuna salad, or turkey&ham with swiss. No mayo. I hate mayo. I do however like Miracle Whip. :thumbsup2

This is me, too! When I was growing up, we only had Miracle Whip in the house. I didn't know that mayo was something different! When DH and I got married, he kept asking for mayo, and I'd bring out the Miracle Whip. Somehow, I couldn't get him convinced it was the "same thing"! ;)
