Getting to know other DISsers before trip?

I'm just curious about this. Do any of you get to know other DISsers who are going to Disney at the same time as you? Do you plan to do something together?

There's a forum called Dis Meets that you can check out and add a posting checking others travel dates.

After chatting with several people online at another forum many moons ago we decided to all meet up. It was so neat to finally meet in person after chatting online for so long! Some people were as I had pictured but others were very different than I had pictured. I've met others at Disney and we've had meets in NC and DC. It's very exciting to share your love of Disney with others who feel the same way!
