Getting to golf course from Swan

We've planned for a round of golf during our Aug 2004 trip, and I had read that vouchers are provided for a taxi ride while staying @ a WDW resort. I spoke w/ a CM today and she told me that the Swan & Dolphin were excluded from this. I figure she's right but we're all going on the Silver Package and she misquoted something else regarding out wishes (I had WDW material in front of me, so I corrected her about it.) Anyway, how much do you think a cab ride might be from Swan to Magnolia Course. Thanks in advance!!

ps- any idea how much it cost to rent clubs @ the golf course??

Seems like most cabs run about $10.00. I would double-check whether Disney or the Swan might pick up the tab.

This link will give you all kinds of info on golfing. Down toward the bottome their is another link that will take you to information about what they have for rent and the costs. Looks like clubs are $55 or $45 (depending on type).

Ditto what Pam said about the cab.

Also want to add that when DH rented clubs you have to give a CC imprint for a $500 deposit (it's not run thru) for rentals.

I know it's not routine, but, someone on this board posted (some time ago) that when they asked at the front desk about this very issue, the SD provided transportation for them.

Ask when you get there--can't hurt. May not help, but, can't hurt.

My dh did get complimentary transportation from the Dolphin to the golf course in February. We were not using any package btw!
