getting to Donalds for 8:00 ADR

We are staying at FW and have an 8:00 ADR at Donalds. The parking lot opens at 7:45 on this day. Should we drive our car and plan on being in line in the parking lot at 7:45 or should we wait for a not so reliable bus? What is anyone's experience with the early bus for AK?

We took the bus from our resort. Didn't have any problems, but was in line at 7am. Bus came 15 minutes later - in line at the park by 7:45am. I don't think they let us in until about 5 til 8am...so I really don't think it'll matter if you drive or take the bus. Either way, you'll be waiting in your car or waiting in front of the park in line.... at least that's my opinion!

exact same experience for us. If Disney is getting your money, they'll get you to the spot.

This past Dec we were at the WL and had an 8 am for Donalds too. We were at the bus stop a little before 7 am. The bus did not show up until 7:45, stopped at FW and then headed to AK. We were very late for our ressie but after explaining what happened to the hostess they sat us right away. SHe said the buses are always late....

If I was doing Donalds again I would take my own car or a cab.
