hi just a quick questions for all you clever folks we have an adr for 7am at chef mickeys on our first day as always up early then plan on going to magic kingdom afterwards can we park in the mk parking lot then catch the monorail to contempory will ticket booths be open that early and monorail running or are we best to park in contempory car park an move car to mk parking lot when we finished breakfast thanks

Id park in contmepory resort if it was me but thats us. Im not sure with all the cutbacks on the monorail what times its running now so wouldnt want to take that chance

thanks thought that but just being lazy not wanting to move car twice also how do you get to the mk parking lot from contempory do you have to go out and then back in past the ticket booths thanks

if it were me, i'd park at the contemporary and leave my car there..

i know i know, you're not supposed to...
but that's what i would do if it were me...

after breakfast, i'd take the resort monorail to MK or walk, depending on the weather...(we usually walk....so nice to be able to walk to a park)

but no way would i move my car.....nope, i'm not a saint....

flame me if you like ;)

oooh i like that idea its naughty but knowing my luck i'd get clamped or towed whateve they do over there we also have tea booked at ohana aswell for 5.15pm not saying we will last in mk that long but you never know

my little sis (Lisa x on dis) and i were only talking about all the flaming that goes on the other day! we read a tread about people running off (to toilet/fastpasses/whatever) then catching up with their family in the queue! there was so much flaming going on the to the op that it got shut down!!
it makes me laugh how strange people are and get so emotional over such small things! in our opinion if it makes ur hol better then we send pixie dust ur way!!:wizard: xx
hope you have a fab time whatever you decide to do! xx

If it was me I would send DH out to take the car to the car park after breakfast and meet him at rope drop:rotfl2:

Just not sure leaving car there that long is a good idea, note sure if Contemporary has parking attendants keeping a watch out for that sort of thing as there is supposed to be 3 hour parking but dont know what they do if you go over that:confused3

if you valet park it, you can leave it there forever...but you'll pay $15/day i think.....

unless you have a handicapped sign - then you can valet park for free at disney - wherever there's valet parking..

They are supposed to note each car going in and monitor how long they stay but not sure how well it works in reality, personally I would not risk it, its easy enough to run the car around to MK car park.

well, being the rebellious type  , i have done it and left the car, and nothing has happened....of course, that doesn't mean it can't happen...possibly it can, but i've never seen it happen...

thanks

valet parking is available at the deluxe disney resorts (GF, BC, YC, AKL, WL, BWI, Poly and CR)....

i think it's actually $12/day for the valet service...

and free if you have a handicapped sign....

basically, if you have a tag that qualifies you to park in handicapped parking, then you qualify for free valet parking at the deluxe resorts..
and i believe that the UK blue badge qualifies you for handicapped parking, so you would qualify for free valet parking...
