Getting to Boma

Hi all,

I know I've read this somewhere but cannot find it.

Does anyone know the simplest way to get from AK to Boma? I thought there was a walking path but all I have in my notes is bus service. We'd like to try Boma while at AK but don't want to spend three hours on lunch.

The best way would be to hop on the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus outside the AK park

Boma only serves breakfast and dinner

I have a 5:45 reservation and AK closes at 5 that day. I'll be driving and using Diamond parking, so no tram needed (if AK even has a tram.) If I leave at park close I should still make the reservation in plenty of time, right?

Thanks! I didn't even notice that. Oh well, we'll stick to Y&Y for lunch then. As much as I'd like to go to Boma, I don't want to spend EMH at AK eating. This will be the first time in 5 years that we've actually managed to time an Eve EMH at AK!

We had 5.30 reservation and left AK at 4.45pm, we arrived by bus at AKL before 5pm and had a lovely look around the hotel before we could check in for dinner.
