Okay, I have a res at Boma at 7:40am and I'm staying at POP. I thought I would just take the bus to AK and then go to AKL from there, but the park doesn't open until 9 so that means busses start running around 8 right? So, my question is.. how do I make it to my res on time? Do I just pick a bus and hope they'll take me to AKL? Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

That is a tricky one. I would probably just take a cab. probably less than the price of a Lapu Lapu or 2 zebra domes.

I have an early Boma ADR one day and the CM when I called for ADRs told me to check at the resort a day or two before whether buses would be running early to AK for people eating breakfast at Tusker House, but that honestly she recommended a cab.

She told me a cab from POFQ would cost about $12 ... I'd guess from POP it would be less since it's a wee bit closer.

Check with your hotel. There is an early bus for early ADR's. I am not sure if it will be early enough for a 7:40 though. I am pretty sure we had a similiar time at Ohana a couple of years ago when we stayed there and had no problem. I think it came around 6:30? We stayed at SSR in Feb and the first bus came around that same time.

I don't like spending money on transportation when I don't have to... I REALLY don't. It's a waste of money imo, BUT in this case- I would take a cab.

Let's say you were lucky enough that a bus to AK arrives at 7:00AM (this is the earliest I have heard buses going to AK, I know MK has them running earlier). By the time people were loaded (although it won't be a lot of people) and transport time to AK, you'd probably be there at 7:20 at the latest. Now you'll need to catch a bus to AKL, if there is one waiting then great, you'd be OK. But if not... you may miss your ADR.

Maybe if there is a bus going to AK in the AM, you could politely ask him/her if he/she will drop you off at AKL after going to AK- this happens a lot with MK and the character breakfasts of the monorail resorts. But ask BEFORE you get on because if the driver won't or can't, you can decide then and there to take a cab.

If you DO take a bus, I'd let it drop to the bus driver that you are going to Boma and SURE hope you can get there on time. Be really nice about it. I've heard that on RARE occasion they might drop you there. It never hurts, and if you are his only one on board, who knows......

I would NEVER count on this though, as it is NOT standard policy....

More efficient that just 'letting it drop' ;) - when you board, ask the driver how you can get to AKL. If at all possible, you will be driven there - likely after the AK drop. Worse case, you would need to change buses at AK; worst case, you'd grab a taxi at AK.

General information: buses to the Magic Kingdom start running at (or before) 6:30; buses to the other three parks start by 7. In both cases, that early, expect frequency of about thirty minutes.

We took a taxi from Coronado to AKL and it was only $8 and SO worth it with a fussy 1 year old ;)

If you don't want to take a cab. Then I'm pretty sure you would have to take a bus to MK then from MK to AKL
