Getting to Boma after Fantasmic

Do you think its possible to get to Boma after Fantasmic for a 7:45pm reservation? We're there on Nov 17, so it should be somewhat of a quieter day, there's no EMH in HS that day. Thoughts?

I wouldn't count on it. That would be cutting it VERY close at best. The show is 30 minutes, which puts you at 7pm...gives you 45 minutes to shuffle out with the crowd, wait for bus (or do you have a car?), drive to AKL etc...

I'd keep trying for a later reservation.

Sounds like cutting it too close…getting out of the park, waiting for a bus, and the bus ride. The waiting for the bus is a big variable. You can make it for sure by (1) leaving Fantasmic a few minutes early (2) taking a cab.

Even if you have a car, there is a wait for the tram to the parking lot.

But it can be done! And Boma is well worth leaving early or paying a few bucks for a cab.

Unlikely by Disney bus, but an outside chance. You could try it and just get there late.

With your own car it is doable.

By cab yes but cabs will be in demand.

In all cases, the key is to get out of Fantasmic! before it ends or at least at the very front of the exit surge. We hate to be herded in that crowd so as the show is nearing its end we duck low and run up the steps to the top... turn and see Mickey say "Some imagination, huh!?" then FAST WALK to the exit.

Then you are at the mercy of the bus timing, or finding a waiting cab, or tram timing to get to your car, and car lot jam to get out.

It's going to be really tight. It's crazy after Fantasmic.

Best bet - Taxi.

I certainly wouldn't rely on the times given there. 19 minutes by bus?? When F. Has just gotten out? Only if you're the luckiest person on earth. 14 minutes by car is also a huge stretch of credibility and assumes you're at the very front of the exit surge and you're parked close enough not to need a tram.

That is the problem with that program it ONLY reports the time from Bus pulls out to Bus pulls in (or close the door on your car/open the door)

It doesn't show the 10 minutes to get out of the park from F! and the 10-15 minute wait time for a bus etc..

If you bail on F! about 5 minutes early, you can beat the crowd.. but do you want to watch only 85% of F!
