Getting to airport question

Okay, maybe this is a weird question, but I just successfully bid on a rental car through Priceline and somehow I ended up with the airport as my pickup/drop off location. (I intended to specifically DE-select the airport, but maybe I hit the wrong key. I'm going to assume the responsibility here and not blame Priceline even though i want to!!) Our plan was to pick up the car in Orlando after checking into our hotel, go do our shopping, etc., then return the car the next day in Orlando.

So my question is, having taken the DME to get to the hotel that very morning, can I turn around and use it again later in the day to get back to the airport to pickup my car? And again the next day to get back to the hotel after dropping off the car?

Or, alternatively, can I pick up my car at the airport instead of taking DME, then use the DME the next day when I return the car to get back to the hotel? I assume I'd have to change my reservation to the following day, but the rest of my family would be going on the DME with the luggage the day before, so I don't know how that would work.

Priceline's only option was to "graciously" allow me to cancel my reservation for the cost of the day's rental (without taxes and fees, which are as much as the day's rental, so it would cost me $17 to cancel.) But then I'd still need a car!

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated!

Your best bet is going to be to pick up your car upon arrival, and go to your resort, while the others take DME. Then, return the car, the next day, and use DME yourself to get back to your resort.
If you try to do it the other way, taking DME to the resort, then back again to pick up the car, use the car and return it to MCO, you now have no way to get to your resort or back to the airport. You only get one ride, each way.
So, pick up the car, go to the resort and return it, then use DME.

It would only lose you $17 to cancel? The time and hassle of going back and forth to the airport would make it worth it to me to just start over.

Yes, it would only cost me $17, BUT I'm not 100% confident that it wouldn't happen again. I was pretty sure that I made a point of selecting "Orlando, FL" and NOT "Orlando Airport (MCO)" but I got the airport anyway. If it happened again, I'd be out the $17 PLUS the $30 for the 2nd car rental, AND I'd still have to go through the hassle of getting back to the airport!

I think I'll just do as Diane suggested and ride the DME the next day. Does anyone know if I have to let them know I'm doing that, or is just having a ticket enough?
