Getting tickets night before check in?

Does anyone know if you can get your package tickets the night before the day you check in? Our official check in day is going to be Sept. 4th but we are driving down on Sept. 3rd and will be there that night. I would like to go ahead and pick up our tickets on the night of the 3rd, so that way we can be at Magic Kingdom for EMH early on the 4th and then come back to the hotel to check in later that day when it gets hotter. Anyone know if this is possible??

Some have reported success but most CM's will not do it. You can go check in early on the 4th, leave your luggage at the resort and head off to the parks. They give you a phone number so you can check and see if your room is ready.

Thanks! Thinking about it again, this plan probably wouldn't work anyway because we would have to be up and out of the hotel that we stayed at, check out, etc. We probably wouldn't have enough time. I'm just worried about the crowds/heat.

Okay...duh...I don't know why I didn't even think of this but we should just book our trip an extra day. I am so use to just staying off site somewhere the night before, but as cheap as the room is and with food included, it doesn't make any sense!! Duh duh duh!!
