Getting tickets before your room?

In another thread, I talk about getting cheap room prices for a weekend in September (which the DISboard community totally killed, thanks guys!), but now I have another question in that same realm.

We will be in Florida for a week before we go to Disneyworld for that weekend, but we are still thinking about heading up mid week to maybe have a meal at Epcot or take some friends there for an afternoon. Can I get tickets with my room but get the tickets BEFORE I check into my room about a week later?

There is a ticket sticky on the Theme park/strategy forum that has the precise info. If I remember right you can pick them up 3days early. Double check that though.

Currently you can pick up tickets attached to a package reservation up to 3 days before your check in.
