Getting the most from DDP

We have ALOT of table service character meals planned for our upcoming trip. I was reading in the Unofficial Guide to use the DDP for adults and pay out of pocket for kids' meals. Has anyone done this? Do they give you any grief for it? Will they give us just a bill for the kids' meal?

You used to be able to do that, but you can no longer do so. The Adult and Child TS credits are separate, and you can't use a child's TS credit for an adult.

This was a major loop hole when the plan rolled out. This loop hole has been closed and child and adult credits are tracked independently
