Getting the camera cleaned

My camera needs to be cleaned -- Pentax istD. I have switched lens and see the same dots and fibers with both lenses, so I am sure it is not the lens, but the camera itself. Where do I take it to be cleaned? How long does it usually take and what is a good price? Thanks for your help.
 
I would do it myself.

What I did was get a kit that included some Pec-Pads, Eclipse cleaning fluid, a Rocket Blower, and a couple other bits and pieces. Most of the time, some strong blasts from the Rocket Blower will get rid of the majority of the dust. When it's really bad, then I get out the Pec-Pads and Eclipse. It's intimidating at first but it's really not pretty easy and I think if you have a modicum of caution, it's not very dangerous, either. It's also very cheap if you do it yourself.

Taking it somewhere to be cleaned is no guarantee of a good job... just ask DVC Jen about her horror story! :scared1:
