Getting rewards for buying Gift Cards?

I have to buy a pretty substantial number of giftcards for work each month on my work cc. (Visa or Mastercard gift cards, not WDW) I bought $2500 worth last month at BJ's thinking I would get rewards on my Bj's rewards card for purchasing them. Nope. You get nothing. Wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can get points or rewards for buying giftcards. It would be great to earn those as a little extra perk from my job!

I use AmEx Blue card at the grocery store for 6% back cash. Use Barclay Arrival+ and Dosh at Sam's (in store) for 2X points and 2% Dosh cash.

I'm guessing you won't be able to use the card linking programs like Dosh and such if it's a business provided card , and not your own card. (While it's possible it may work, there may be rules you don't want to break by having the purchases tracked by a third party. I'd check before going that route if you're not sure.) That makes it harder if you can't use those.
Some grocery stores will do fuel perks occasionally, Kroger stores put out coupons fairly frequently but I think they are for the smaller, fixed denomination ones. Don't believe it works on the higher $500 limit variable loads, but I'm not in a Kroger area so I'm not totally familiar. Usually though they are excluded from earning points. Safeway will put out coupons to waive the activation fees, essentially, but still don't earn points on them. I don't think any of the drugstores do either. Also think Staples and OM/OD exclude it too.
Are you able to buy them online? Some cash back portals pay out for V/MC purchases. I think GiftCardMall shows up on places like eBates. That's probably the easiest if you're restricted on how you can use the card and worth an internet search.

We get rewards at our local grocery store, sometimes up to 10x reward points...all those are dependent on the type of gift card purchased.

It depends on which kind of cards you have. My Chase Ink Bold gave 5x/$ at Staples, so I got Chase UR points.

if you do swagbucks, you can get SB back if you purchse them at Best Buy

I do the Kroger fuel program. When they are doing 4x points(started today in my area)-each $250 in GC equals $35 off 35 gallons of fuel(we fill 2 cars at a time maxing it out). I use the Hilton Amex to get 6x points toward hotel stays, meaning 1500 points toward a free night for the $250 spent. If Chase Freedom does 4x groceries in Q2 as rumored, then I would move the charges to that card. It's about a 14% bonus before CC, only is Kroger is around your area.

Meijer is offering $5 back for each $50 card bought through Mperks if you have them in your area. Limit of $50. That's a 10% bonus.

I will check SB. The issue is not getting points on my credit card. My card is a company card that I don't earn anything on. I am hoping to earn loyalty points or bonus cards or something for buying them. I guess I wasn't very clear

I would not do this at BB for SB because it could result in you never earning SB on BB gc purchases again. We've had a couple people who bought a few hundred dollars worth, scanned their SB and never got the points. They then tried buying small denominations (less than $100) and even those will no longer give them SB. All that aside Visa gift cards can be far and few between at BB anyway, haven't seen them at my BB in ages.

Staples and Office Depot rewards program don't give points for gift card purchases fwiw.
