So, we're looking at picking up dessert exp, appetizer exp, and brunch at remy - will we be able to do that with gold or will I need conceirge for that?

It always depends on the type of cruise you do and who else is cruising. We were able to get Remy brunch as Gold for our Med cruise with only one sea day, but I had to be very fast and immediately grab it first thing. I was also able to get a dessert experience afterwards (we did cancel that later on). And dinner stayed available for a long time, I think even into silver booking date.

I was able to pick up Enchante dessert experience as a silver. Didn't try for brunch but I think it was available during my booking window. Availability for dinner showed up until just a couple days before sailing. (Yes I know you asked about Remy and this is Enchante, but they are similar so wanted to share my experience),

As always, you'll have an easier time getting reservations on common cruise itineraries and on relocation itineraries (except Hawaii and South Pacific). Cruising outside of the peak season also increases your odds.

That said, I've never had a problem booking the dessert experience at silver or gold. I haven't tried booking the others.

Is the appetizer experience you are referring to the Petites Assiettes de Remy? I have been wondering if that has returned and I can't find any updated information.

Remy is much easier to get. In July, we couldn’t get brunch or dessert as silver on the 9 night a Southern Caribbean. That cruise was slammed with platinum and gold. We got brunch in the ship. Dessert became available too, but it was the same day as brunch. That would have been a bridge too far, so we declined the dessert.

Our Norwegian fjords cruise still had Remy dessert and dinner available for silver, and first timers still had the dinner option available. It really depends upon the cruise, is it a very rare/new itinerary that lots of pearl/platinum are on? Or a more common itinerary?

We had no problem getting reservations for Remy's Brunch and Dessert Experience on our last cruise as a Gold member. Both the brunch and dessert experiences were excellent.

As others have said it's going to depend on the make up of your cruise. More unusual sailings like Panama Canal etc tend to have a lot of Gold, Platinum and now Pearl. On both our Panama cruise and last year's 11 night iceland cruise there were a lot of Gold and Platinum cruisers. Palo, tastings etc were all sold out by our silver day.

That being said in both cases I was able to get everything we wanted just through regular checking of the site so even if you don't get what you want right off the bat keep checking back.

we are on the fjord cruise - it shows dessert as available but when you try and reserve it you get an error saying it's completely booked. I tried at midnite when it opened (silver) and same thing happened then too. I keep checking back and still same thing unfortunately.

It's available for a certain party size. I was playing around last week and 1 day was available for 3/4 adults but not 2. You might check on the ship,. It may take an actual human to override the system to let a smaller party to sit at a bigger table.

That’s the error message you get when there are no tables available for your party but the restaurant isn’t technically sold out sold out. It’s very annoying.
