Ok well i am now 59 days out and realized something. I need a place to get ready with hair and makeup before the wedding. I am staying at a timeshare the whole week before but all of us boys and girls are together so I wanted to go somewhere else to get ready. So I was thinking of booking a room at the Grand and staying the night before the wedding then all of us girls could get ready all day there. I figured I would call and just book the room we have on our wedding night for the night prior to the wedding to extend the reservation. But now there is a problem. There are no rooms other than standard ones left (I was thinking of getting a deluxe room to have some more space.) And if I am in 2 different rooms I would have to check out early in the one and not be able to check into the other room until later. And the whole middle portion of the day I would be roomless! So me, my 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms and hair person will need somewhere to go. What do you guys think I should do? Here are my options as far as I know:

1.) Book a standard room for 2 nights to have the day to get ready and just not stay there the night of the wedding. (Is there enough room?)

2.) My wedding planner is looking into booking the Key West room to use to get ready. (I am concerned about lack of natural light in there though. And will it be weird trapsing through convention center? I always envisioned hanging out in a private hotel room in robes or something.)

Any other thoughts? Thanks!

where is your wedding? a lot of brides get ready in a convention center. i'm in the same boat as you, i didn't know what to do. we're staying at a garden suite at bw, that morning, i'm having mark go check us into the poly after he gets ready (veeeerrrry early in the morning), so he has something to do. then we'll all get ready in there...then we have to check out of the bw. i'm going to be stranded on our wedding day, but i'm hoping the poofy dress will inspire a cm or 2 to take pity on us and give us our poly room faster...
