:wave2: Sorry about the mistake. My problem is that I have not been to Disney in so long, I can't decide on times i would want to eat or which restaurant on which day. How successful can one be in getting Priority Seating the same day by going through the Hotel concierge? With the help of all of you, I have narrowed down my restaurant choices but would prefer to wait until I get there to decide what I will be in the mood for on each day. We will be staying at the Swan. Our restaurant choices are Palio, California Grill, Le Cellier, Citricos, Wolfgang Puck, and Fresh at the Dolphin for either breakfast or lunch. Any info would be appreciated.

Stayed @ Poly. Used concierge service for all PS ressies. Asked if they could squeeze us into the MK castle breakfast - THEY DID!!!!
That was a shocker. They were awsome.

We had success using the concierge to do some of our PS's in Dec. If you are flexible about the time you should have better luck. We wanted R&C (hoping for an Illumination view) and we did get a seating, it was earlier than we wanted, but this was when CP was going on.

I have had really good luck with same day PS's the past 3 years. We stayed at the Swan and the hotel concierge (which is available to all guests not just club level - more like a traditional hotel's concierge) got us same day PS's for Le Cellier, CRT (dinner twice) LTT dinner, breakfast at 'Ohanas. We also have had the GF concierge make same day PS's for many of the same venues - our trips have been in late July early August each year.

Although I love to plan and research I have a hard time making PS's - since we have a little one sometimes we have to be very spontaneous.

While the hotel concierge can certainly help, we have had difficulties in the past getting same day PS's (even using the concierge) for the more popular restaurants. Of the ones listed, I would put Cal Grill, Le Cellier and Wolfgang Puck's in that category. The hotel concierge can certainly help with this, but if you are waiting to the last minute, I would be flexible in choices and not get my heart too set on any one place.

last week I only made one same day PS

that was the restaurant at the mexican pavilion

I did it myself from a phone at a souvineer store in MK...it was no problem

I think it REALLY depends on what time of year you go and what restaurant you want to go to.

During our September trip, we were able to get in everywhere we wanted for dinner (with same day PS's) EXCEPT California grill.

At MGM we were able to make the PS ourselves for that very day.

concierge are not miracle workers...yes they can pull strings, but if there is no room, there's no room...you know?

I agree with StinkerBelle- It totally depends on what time of year you are going, and how flexible you are about times/restaurants.

For example, Ca. Grille for a fireworks viewing time might be tough. Breakfast and lunch are usually not a problem (Every time I go to Fresh - it is half-empty!---- been 4 times at various times of the year). I was once unable to get Le Cellier for dinner same-day, and had YC concierge calling for me.
