Thanks in advance for any help.
I'm getting ready for my trip (leave in 8 days) and realized that the US policy for things allowed to be brought into the parks is different that Disney's. According to the US website:
Acceptable items:
Prohibited items:
I have a small soft-sided cooler (about 8.5" wide by 6" deep by 12" tall) I realize it is roughly twice as tall as what is listed as allowed, but are they likely to prohibit it? I travel with a friend, and we put everything in the one cooler - so it is effectively the same as 2 of the sized coolers that they allow. ;-) That works as reasoning, right?
I also generally take in 2 plastic bottles of soda, 2 bottles of water, 4 individual snack packs (chips, crackers, fruit snacks, etc), 2 koolaid pouches, and 1 12" sandwich. This is all split between me and my traveling companion. Pretty sure everything is fine except the sandwich. Any idea how likely that will be to make it into the parks? It doesn't require heating or refrigeration (I just wouldn't want to eat it if it had been left in the Florida sun for hours - but that goes for a lot of other things as well).
My companion normally carries a backpack with all the other things we use during the day (camera, ponchos, jackets, spare socks for water rides, etc). The backpack is definitely larger than the listed cooler size, but it also isn't being used as a cooler and I didn't find anything about bags other than they are subject to inspection. Should we have any problems there?
Thanks again for any input.
