Are all get paid to take survey's sites a scam? I'm really tempted to try it out, it's a one time fee of $35 to join. I am a member of a free market research website, but in 2 years I've made a total of $4. Is anyone successful doing this. I'm not looking for a career. I'd just like to pay down some debt.

The more I think about it...the more I refuse to pay money to join any site promising to make me money...but if you do make money taking survey's please feel free to discuss. Thanks :)

I tried to do this kind of survey for making money, but i haven't insisted long, i find it is waste of time, though many people said they have maken money from it.

Any place that requires you to pay money upfront is more than likely a SCAM!

Especially for you to then do surveys for money.

Try Harris Polls (you earn points and can "redeem" them for specific things or gift cards), and Toluna lets your earn cash, but it does take a while. I don't think any of the survey places really pay a lot very quickly, but if you like taking surveys and giving your opinion, it can be fun and you feel compensated a bit. Some places send you items to try at home, like detergent or cleaners, too, which can be fun. Anyway, I agree that you shouldn't pay to join one. Just do a Google search for survey places and then see which ones you like.

This year, I've gotten about $70 in cash and gift cards from the two sites I listed. Not a lot of money, but better than nothing. :)

There was one site a while back that used to give $15 Amazon gift cards for doing surveys. You visited websites & gave your opinions. Then they went down to $10 and it was no longer worth it.

On the Budget Board they talk about doing Pinecone surveys. They pay. You have to go to the Budget Board people ask them about it.

Boy, I have a friend that will spend 6 hours and get .50 cents. She feels like at least she is doing work and productive. I told her I can find more money in the couch or floors and in less then an hour.

I once did a survey that paid fairly well I could get $15 for 2 hours once a week. But then the funds ran down and needed to make friends have referrals, far too much effort to little or nothing for pay,

I would look into TMG if they have them in your area, they pay to work from home.

There is very little work form home, unless you can do mending, dog walking, child care.
I would look into some of the major job search sites for part time work and see what you can make.
