Getting new windows Wednesday!

And I am sitting here thinking about what a mess it is going to be to get ready for them. I have to remove all window treatments and move all furniture away from the windows. I thought it would be no big deal....but the more I think about it...it is going to be a royal pain in the you know what!!! I have about 20 windows too!!!!
I am only working Tuesday and Friday this week...but DH is on his weird shift for a few months (5pm-5am). I guess we really should have thought this out a little...and we could have tackled some moving stuff today while we were both home!!!
I am so excited about them too!!! It doesn't even seem like it is really gonna happen....that weird kinda feeling....ya know what I mean?? I am getting a 10 ft bay window in the living room that I have wanted for years!!!!!!
Oh well, maybe I should start doing something........

Enjoy. New windows are great. And when we had our done a few years back, they left without a piece of dust left behind, amazing to see them work and clen up afterwards.

I'm sure you'll be really happy with them. We got all new windows installed last year and we can't believe the difference in heating costs and appearance to the house. Also our installers were fantastic and didn't leave a single scrap of mess anywhere and they were installed in half a day under extremely cold weather conditions.

Lisa...we had new ones put in back in 98. One guy did ours. 6 windows of various sizes and a 6 ft doorwall. I was not prepared for the nasty stink of the caulk. It must've stunk for 2-3 days. Thank goodness it was nice enough to open the windows. It was nice to get rid of those nasty ones with the metal trim!!
