Getting mixed messages about wall hangings...

on one wall, I had 15 different pictures/random drawings hung up on my wall, and they never said one word to me. One of my friends had her room plastered with posters, and they got an excellent on their first inspection. It's really not a big deal if you guys put up posters.

I've lived here for 5 months now and so far they've had no problem in our inspections with things stuck up on the wall with drawing pins, however on our latest inspection they told us that we can only have things pinned up on a bulletin board. I really don't get the difference since the bulletin board would also be pinned up with pins I'm just leaving my things up on my wall on drawing pins.

My roommate and I would use the existing holes in the wall and stick our pins up all over and also put some postcards up with them too. We made a few new holes of our own when we each hung a poster up. They never said anything during inspections about the things.
