Has anyone? Have you seen anyone? What do they do? offer etc? Any info really.

My partner and I are engaged, and want to tie the knot in the next few years... we don't have a big family... and it's really important to us that the kids enjoy it and that it's a fun, romantic crazy experience... which reflects us!! haha....

sooo.... any info...??:wizard: :wizard: princess:

Unfortunately DLRP doesn't do weddings. I think it's because you need to have resided in France for a month before you can marry.

The alternatives are to honeymoon there or consider getting married in WDW.

oh i see. Thats a shame, yes we did consider wdw, but would be too expensive to fly everyone over, thats a shame though.... so you cant go over and get married in a local registry office or anything in france then? shame as you can in most other countries witht he right paperwork. would be great fun wouldnt it.
go and do big thunder mountain in my wedding dress!! great pics too... oh.... i want to! hahaha....mmm..

LOOL I think it would be great if you could, shame you cant tho... I would def be tempted......

Is there no way of having a humanist ceremony? Like, you could get legally married in the UK, but then go to DLRP with the wedding party, and have a private little ceremony somewhere?? I really don't know if this would be possible, but its just a thought.... You could always get married in the UK and then all go over to DLRP for a fab meal and go in the parks, like, as your reception?

As for riding BTM in the wedding dress- GO FOR IT!!!! I would love to do that!!

I think it would depend on your dress, but I'm sure someone had asked before about haivng photos taken in the park in wedding attire but they wont let it happen............. as ppl will think your a princess/ part of disney cast and you'll get mobbed!

really? that sounds odd to me. as i know people that have been dressed up when they went...
will have to find out!

I'm sure thats was what the other person was told when they enquired... but as i said i guess it depends what your planning on wearing.

That's right as it would interfere with the enjoyment of other paying guests.
That is the very good reason why wedding photographs taken at WDW are before park opening at around 5 - 6 am
