Getting KTTW tickets early

I booked a 7 night stay that coincided with my PIN dates but then wanted to through an extra night on at the beginning of my trip....which wasn't included in the PIN dates. So now I have a room only ressie and then my package ressie. With the pack one I have enough park tickets to include that extra day (I mean, it's only an extra $5). I talked to a CM about getting the tickets on the day we arrive for the room only, and he said that it will be up the the person checking us in is they want to give us our tickets early......

I'm wondering if anyone has been in the same position as I am....have a room only and then your package starts the next day with your KTTW tickets. Have you been able to get ur park tickets the day earlier? Its not a huge deal....its not a major money loss and we can wonder the resorts and Boardwalk BUT MK is open late that night....like 1am late

I understand that you can pick up package tickets up to 3 days early...but not at the resort front desk, at a Guest Services in the parks or DTD, and the tickets will be Tyvek tickets and separate from the KTTW card you eventually get for your package stay. You may be able to ask about having the tickets put onto your package KTTW when you receive it but I can't remember if they can do that at the resort.

We did this in December at AK's guest relations and didn't have any trouble getting our tickets early . However, we were told those tickets could not be put on our package KTTW card, but somehow they were deactivated when we checked in for our package . We didn't mind this as we were glad we didn't have to carry one card for the parks and another for our room, but it took us being denied entry at DHS before we came to the conclusion that our package KTTW card did indeed have our park tickets on it . Other than that little glitch, it all worked out in the end and we only had the 1 card to carry .

No. Once you get the multiday ticket from Guest Services that is your ticket for the whole stay. There will be no tickets on the KTTW card when you check in for the package...because you will already have your tickets. That's the way it SHOULD work anyway.

The process has changed in the past 6 months. You can still pick up your tickets early, but what will now happen is when you check into your package reservation, the tickets will be pulled back onto your KTTW cards automatically.

That is what happened to me when I went last December. When I checked in the next day for my package, the tickets were automatically rolled over on my KTTW card.

We just did this a few weeks ago, went to AK and they had a little issue with trying to get them to print. They called CSR and CSR actually printed them to their office and they were our KTTW for the rest of the week. Once we had our room assigned the next day those keys worked for the resort too.

Took about 30 min but because of the issue the nice lady at CS gave us a fast pass and that allowed us to get on KS especially since we did not arrive until 2:15pm and all the fast passes were gone for everything already, it was a line saver We managed to get into the park right as the parade had started so we were able to see it as well.
