Okay, I have read some posts where people have gotten into the MK early with only their MNSSHP ticket. Then I've also read that they won't let you in until 7pm.

Could you share your experiences on this matter? What time did you get in? Did you go and get your wristband right away? Did you have to ask the CM or just swipe the ticket in the turnstyles?

Thanks, I would love to see just how many got in and how many got turned away! I would love to get there around 5:30 pm and grab some dogs at Caseys and then head to the closed off area before they close down. If they turn me away, I will just go cruise some of the monorail hotels :p

for the last 2 years at least, I have never heard of anyone getting turned away after about 4:00p with just their party ticket.

At a certain point in the day...probably after 4:00p, the CMs at the gates will be there to give out the trick or treat bags while you swipe your ticket.

If for some reason you don't get a wristband and bag upon entering, they'll be CMs all over the park handing them out and telling you to head over to tomorrowland/fantasyland.

My personal experience: Once I got the wristband/bag upon entering and the other time I got it during dinner at CP.

Enjoy!

I have a couple of questions about MNSSHP too. If you are already at MK, do you need to go back towards the front gate to get your wristband? What are you allowed to do during the hour MK is "closed" before the party officially starts? Is everything open during the party? All the rides?

Thanks.

NO you do not need to go to the front gate. There will be CM around to take your ticket and give you a bag and wristband.

You show your wristband to ride rides in Tomorrowland while they clear out the rest of the park.

Question: Is it always Tomorrowland? I thought I heard that it was Fantasyland, or maybe that was just wishful thinknig?

Over the last couple years I have heard of both...but I've heard of Tomorrowland more than Fantasyland.

I'll bet it all depends on where you are when the park closes...eating, on Main Street etc...

I've heard of both areas being a holding spot.

Have Fun!

Ok, so Tommorrowland or Fantasyland will be the holding areas and from about 6 to 7 pm, we can ride and eat in those areas only. Right? What about during the party itself (7 to 12 am)? Is everything open, all rides? When is the parade? We want to see the parade and my kids will want to trick or treat, but we also want to ride the rides since we leave the next day.

Thanks for all the info. It always makes me feel better to know the deal before we go.

Most everything is open with very few excpetions...look here and it will list everything you ask...what is open and when the parade is and the fireworks too!:D

This is my first MNSSHP, so I do not from first hand, but have read just about all the threads on the party. This is want I have found out. You can enter park with only the MNSSHP ticket around 5 pm, I would check first on correct time before heading out. A 6 pm they usher all party goers in to Fantasyland or Tomorrowland and nonparty goers out of park. Betw. 6-7 only the rides in the holding-land will be open to ride. At 7 pm the whole park is reopen with exception on toontown, a few selected rides and some of the eating estab. There are few sit-down restaurants open and a PS is probably a must and maybe hard to get.

Toontown is open for MNSSHP. There are several trick or treating areas there and you can tour Mickey's and Minnie's houses!

They have let people in with just their party ticket as early as 4:00p.

My knowledge from attending past two years...as for Toontown, it was closed for MNSSHP in 2001 and was open for MNSSHP in 2002 - so could be either this year.

Here's a stupid question but one I have to ask:

I'm only attending MNSSHP on Oct. 3 - will NOT have PH, UPH, or anything else, will just the MNSSHP ticket let me onto the monorail also? I guess I'm asking if Disney transportation is also included in the MNSSHP ticket?

dturner:
Yes, you can ride the monorail without a Park ticket.
PS:
No question is stupid! :D
