Getting in touch with your mischievous side...

I learned something on my trip to Universal Studios.... there is nothing quite like the thrill of zinging a foam ball off the top of some stranger's head.

When my friend and I first poked our heads into the Ball Factory, we were mildly entertained at the chaos before us. Shruging, we decided to try shooting a few balls ourselves -- what the heck...

Well! Much to our surprise... it was REALLY FUN to hit the poor folks below. It unlocked some devilish side of us, or something!!

At first, adults were our only targets. But, by the time we left there, I was gleefully pelting little, innocent children. My friend took particular delight in trying to hit camcorders (the balls are very light foam)-- she claimed she was only doing it to make the person's video more interesting... but I have my suspicions.

If you are not familiar with the Ball Factory in the Woody Woodpecker Zone -- go see it. And if you go, you MUST try to shoot some balls. You may be surprised at the things you do...

The water guns were shut down when we were there (too cold!)

In the ball room, many people had jackets with hoods hanging from their collars. We tried to make 'baskets' into the open hoods. It was more fun than I possibly could have imagined!

I remember my poor friend came decked out in an all white outfit, very stylish and adorable, and ended up as everyone's favorite target!!

I wish I had a video of her running and hollering! Hysterical!

Isn't it funny how the simplest of inventions can entertain you for hours! Last December two friends and myself had a blast with the water cannons and the foam balls.
