Getting in a day early...

Hi Dis people! I am looking for some advice! My husband and I are getting in a night earlier than our family for our April trip because we have to fly from AZ and that's how it worked out. (everyone else is driving from SC on Friday)

What are your recommendations for places to stay Thursday night, preferably with an airport shuttle, and then is there a way to get over to POFQ with our things and check in without waiting for the rest of the fam to get there with cars? I'm pretty sure if we get there early disney will hold our bags, its just a matter of getting over there!

I think I'd look into a Value resort for that single night so you can use DME to get over there. Hotels near the airport are probably cheaper, but then you'd need to take a cab or Uber or Lyft over to POFQ, and that fare plus a cheaper hotel might be more than a night at a Disney Value. Then Disney will transfer your luggage to POFQ for you.

Just stay anywhere around the airport with an Airport Shuttle, there's more than a dozen good hotels within minutes of the airport, almost all have a shuttle and then you can shuttle back in the am and take the DME. We're staying at the Marriott Lakeside.
