We've been waiting for the right 50- or 100-point resale contract at OKW in our use year with no luck. In two months, we've found one that was stripped and one at Fidelity that wanted $100 per point:scared1:

Frankly, we're getting a bit impatient, even though we don't plan to use these points until January 2013. How long does it typically take to find a small contract in the right resort and use year? We've been considering either adding on direct or buying a larger resale contract than we really want.

Have you contacted the major resellers and asked them about small contracts? In the past, they would call you if the contract you were looking for hit the company. But you would have to decide quickly because they went like hotcakes.

I know when we bought our 50 point add on contract many years ago, I could hear several of the agents telling other customers about the same contract. I had to tell them we'd take it right then.

Yeah, they know what we're looking for and we're on the email list. It'll show up sooner or later, but the waiting is killing me.

OKW probably never sold direct to new buyers in the 50 to 100 point range. They only contracts available would be add ons and the owners of those contracts aren't selling.

Your choices are to wait until one comes up realizing that others are waiting too, buy direct, or buy at another resort.

Bill is correct.
OKW originally only sold new contracts at a minimum point level of 160. Yes, they sold resales starting at 25 and those are the ones you are waiting on.

I bought a resale 50 point OKW contract in 2000 (or was it 1999). They were selling then and they are selling now.
