Getting Hair Done on own?

For those of you who decided not to spend the extra money on hair & makeup coming to your room, where did you get your hair done?

It will only be me getting my hair done for our VR in April 2011, so I'm thinking it may not be financially worthwhile to spend the money on hair/makeup and instead go and get it done somewhere in Orlando/around Disney.

I plan on getting my hair trimmed prior to the trip, but would like someone to do my hair up. I thought about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but I think they only do little girls' hair.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Beaute Speciale does not charge extra to come to your room. It was only me that had my hair and makeup done and the price was comparable to if I was to go to a salon. HTH. :goodvibes

I know the Spa at the Swan and Dolphin do hair and make but as Boston Disney Bride said it costs just as much as having Beaute Special come to the room plus you have the hassle of finding and driving to a place. When I had my hair done by Beaute Special I sent them pictures and they reduced the cost as I did not need an updo or anything complicated.

I also had Beaute Speciale come to the room for hair and make-up for our vow renewal. It was just me and worth every cent. Not only because they did a great job but also for the convenience of not having to leave the comfort of our room.

I had Beaute Speciale as well and it is much easier and less stressful to have someone come to you that day. I did look into local salons for my aunt since I thought it would be much cheaper, but I was surprised to find it was actually pretty close to the same price.

I'd have to agree with the other girls - I also had Beaute Speciale and they do not charge for in room service. It was awesome to not have to travel somewhere to have my hair/make up done and I completely recommend this route! :thumbsup2

I emailed Beaute Speciale and got a response saying they were free the day of our VR!

Thank you all!

Michelle
