Getting fruit without a car

Our last two trips to the world, we have rented a car. On our last trip, we actually tried the buses, and have decided that ME along with Disney transportation is the way to go.

My one worry is without a car, we won't be making a grocery stop. I'll bring snacks in the suitcase, and order water, but what about fruit?

We have two young dds, and with all the french fries and junk, they actually enjoy having a piece of fruit back in the room rather than more junk.

Anyone have any good ideas on where to get some fruit? We'll be doing a spit stay at WL and AKL.

Thanks.

There's also a stand in every park that sells fruit. :)

Get it delivered! What is the name of the place we used? Oh I am getting tired again (had to get up to let out the dog, not a night owl) the name.... Garden Grocer? Looked it up and I didn't remember the 12 dollar fee for delivery last year, but it is free for orders above 200.00.

We usually bring nothing and have any food delivered, water, chips, snacks, milk (if you have a fridge) fruit, diaper cream if you want etc. They are a full grocery and you can even get beer wine or alcohol if you desire. They have clear instructions on thier website. I don't know that I would use them for fruit only with that 12 dollar fee though. You have many choices so you can shop smart still. Hope that helps!

You will find a limited selection of fresh fruit at any of the resorts and at a few stands in the theme parks. Mostly bananas, apples, oranges, sometimes grapes.
