First cruise this February and booking excursions soon -- is there a lot of hassle getting from the ship to Atlantis or the other Nassau excursion places? Seems like a lot of walking and van-riding, which isn't fun with kids 8/6/3....

At first I thought we'd definitely want to do Aquaventure, but maybe a shorter excursion (with less transfer time) would be better because this is our first cruise and it's only 3 nights, so we'll want to enjoy the ship more?

From ship to Atlantis about a 20 minute ride in a small bus. You pick your own return time from Atlantis port adventures and buses run every 20-30 minutes.

Also I did the Aquaventure with my DS 3 at the time and it was a lot of walking DH and I took turns carrying him since we didn't bring a stroller which was a bad idea we really needed one BTW. He could only play in the kids splash area and they have one of those on the ship and he was too small for all of the slides and the "lazy river" is not so lazy. I would look up some POV videos of the Aquaventure so you can get an idea of what to expect.
