Getting from S.Harbour to DTD early in the morning

Does bag check open at a certain time?

Having never stayed off property, I'm just wondering if bag check doesn't open until a certain time, how do you get through from one of the off site hotels on S.Harbour Blvd to say GCH or Goofy's through DTD for an early breakfast (walking).

Are you able to just walk straight through to DTD from S.Harbour to get to the restaurants if bag check isn't open or do you have to go a long way round if bag check doesn't open until a certain time.

That is correct. The Esplanade is not closed to traffic during the night or early morning. They just clear it about 15 minutes before the bag check opens.
