Getting from Port area hotels to the port

Just wondering what transportation options are available for getting from hotels in the port area to the port on the morning of departure. Thanks for any ideas!!

Some of the hotels have their own shuttles, or you can book your own. (Art's is one of them). You could even use a cab depending on how many people are in your group. The shuttles usually run about $5 per person one way. We stayed at Ron Jon's and the concierge called and arranged a shuttle company for us. Previously, we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot and they had a shuttle service they used too. Check with your hotel.

Check with the hotels before booking... and be sure to clarify with them how far in advance they allow you to book. I heard (do not know for sure)that the Radisson allows bookings months in advance.

Check with the hotels for more information ... but I know that the Radisson offers a free shuttle service to the Port. When we cruised in November, I called the hotel and booked an 11am slot on the shuttle for my family. We arrived in the lobby with our luggage at 10:45 ... and proceeded to stand there and wait, and wait and wait for over an hour to actually get loaded onto a shuttle.

Now, please keep in mind that this didn't ruin our vacation. But it certainly wasn't what I expected. I expected that an 11:00 shuttle reservation meant I'd board a shuttle at approximately 11:00 ... not Noon The Radisson shuttles service every cruise ship at the port ... not just Disney, and I'm sure a HUGE portion of their business are cruisers. Since I'm a bit of a control freak and felt a bit out-of-control this past time, I'm thinking of doing things a little different for next time. HTH

We decided to get a rental car and drive to the Marriott Courtyard we are staying at the night before. Then saturday morning we will drive over to Budget to return the car and take their shuttle to the port.
