I need to know please the best way to get to from Pop to the Fort Wilderness Kennel and I need to be there at 8:00 am. If taking a taxi is the best bet, does anyone know the approx cost from Pop? I've booked the horseback riding and apparently it meets at the kennel.

Thanks!

We just did the same thing in October. Just go out the front doors of the "Community Hall" (I can't believe that I don't remember the name of it!) and tell "the guy in the big white gloves" that you need a taxi. The cabs stage in the parking lot across the street until they are summoned by the "big hands guy". I would say that it took us about 10 minutes to get to FW, give or take. We were out front to get the cab at 7:30am and that gave us plenty of time. The kennel is located at the front of FW so you will not need to take an internal bus to get there.

Have fun! The trail ride is really nice.

If you don't want to take a taxi then you can do the following:

6:30 am bus to Magic Kingdom, then walk to Contemporary, then boat to Fort Wilderness, then bus to Outpost.

You "might" could take a 7:00am bus to Epcot, then bus to Fort Wilderness, but it will most likely be quite difficult to get a bus leaving Epcot for Fort Wilderness at that time.

Great info!

But what is the COST? We have a group of 7 going over there.

TIA
