Getting from Poly to Magic Kingdom by 8:05 am for CRT

This is our first trip to Disney World. We will be arriving in April. We have reservations at 8:05 am at CRT. This is before Magic Kingdom opening (no EMH that day). I know that we could easily take the monorail if it were later, but I read somewhere that the monorail does not start running until one hour before park opening. We would need to be in the restaurant by then. How do we get to Magic Kingdom from the Poly that early?

I am pretty sure that the resort monorail is running by 7:30, maybe a bit earlier. If not you can take the boat over to the MK.

I second that... they are the resort monorails that you are taking, not the general monorails from the parking lot. ANd even those I think start early...

The monorails start running at 7am daily.

Many times you'll read that the monorail starts 1 hr before opening or the busses start running 1 hr before opening. Those statements are largely untrue. We've been on park busses a full 2 hours before the park opens, and the monorails start earlier too. You won't have a problem getting to MK for your breakfast.
