Hi

We are going back to Disneyland in March, last time we went we only did Disney. This time we are staying in Paris for 3 nights then going onto SL for 4 nights. I'm going to arrange private transfer from the airport to the Paris apartment and then back from SL to CDG airport, but what are our best options for getting from Paris to SL. 2 adults 2 7yr olds and a 1 yr old

Thanks in advance

Easiest for you would be to arrange another transfer with the same people who are doing the others from Paris to DLP.

Cheapest would be on public transport - Depending on where you are in Paris it would take 40 minutes minimum and would cost you 7.50€ pp adult and 3.75€ pp child with the 1 yr old going free.

This is more than doable but it depends on you and how much luggage you have :goodvibes

Im thinking you are right, its not worth the hassle with all the luggage and the children. I'll enquire about a further transfer

thank you

May I ask what company you are using? We are taking Eurostar to go from London - Paris, then from DLP back to London, but also need to make arrangements to get from Paris to DLP. We are also a family of 5 (kids are 4, 8, and 9).
Thank you!

Many people I know went with Parishuttle, and they were happy with the drivers and with the company in general.

We took the RER with our three kids (although 1 yrs is pretty young) with no issues last summer. We went from Gare de Lyon. The worst part about it all was standing with our suitcases because it was too crowded to get a seat. Someone did let the kids sit, which was nice. I would do it again in a heart beat. It was cheap and efficient!

We are 4 adults and two teens going from near DLP to downtown Paris and back on two different days so I think that we need 24 tickets. What is the best way to buy the RER zone 1-5 tickets? Buy 30 at once with only one line? Six at the start of each trip more lines but less to keep track of all tickets?
Sorry to piggy back on another thread.
Merci

Do you mean you are going from DLP to Paris and back in the same day?

If so the best ticket to get is the Mobilis ticket - it costs about 14Euros per person (CarrieCat will give you the exact amount) and will give you return fare to and from DLP-Paris and unlimited use of metro while in Paris for that day

Mobilis zones 1-5 for one day: 16,6 euros.
In weekends, you can use the ticket jeunes for the teens: 8,35 euros. I don't know when are you going to Paris, but just in case... :)

Yes our trips are into and out of Paris on each of two days. We will have the Paris Pass which includes Metro but not zone 1-5 RER (only zone 1-3). Your pass ideas seem great. We are going Thur-Fri to cut the tourist crowd a little in early spring.
