We are flying into Orange County Airport (SNA) and are wondering the best way to get from there to the Disneyland Hotel. Any suggestions? We are not wanting to rent a car.
We took a taxi in March and I believe that it was $35 each way. Make sure that you tell them you need the flat rate before you get into the cab. We got there at rush hour and boy that cab driver was a little wild but we made it ok. My husband was up front with the driver and said he kept swearing. Luckly he had such a heavy accent that the kids didn't understand it. We stayed at Hojo and when it came time to leave I went to the front desk and asked them to send for a cab and told them I needed the flat rate. The service that they go with charges a higher fee. Lucky for me I had recorded the cab company's phone number on my cell phone before we left home and was able to call for a cheaper cab myself.
We are going from SNA to DLH in August... we decided to reserve an "exclusive" van from SuperSuttle... the cost was $67 each way. We have 5 people in our party (2 are 4 and will be in carseats) and we will not be sharing the van with anyone. I know this is more expensive than a taxi... but we know the van will be a good size and we will have plenty of room for us and our luggage (it sits 9)... there will be no additional stops...we were able to pre-pay... and we already have a scheduled pick up to take us back to SNA at the end of our trip. For us the convenience is worth the extra cost.
You will receive a voucher from Disneyland Express (if you booked thru Disney.) YOu just bring the voucher down when you meet the shuttle, and the fare is $10 each way. So, $20 rt. I just spoke to a CM about this last week when we booked our vacation, because my mom flies into SNA.
