Getting from one end of DTD to the other?

I was very disappointed to see that DisneyQuest is on the opposite end of DTD from the Lego store and other shops!

Are there shuttles or trolleys or some way to get from one end to the other? We will be driving, so we could go back to the car and drive to the other end, but just wondering if there is another way..

Thank you!

Nope, walking or using your car are about the only options. BTW, parking can be very very tight at DTD. It really is not all that long a walk and it is pleasant.

The walk is not that bad, Disney Quest is at one end, the lego store is not quite in the middle but close enough. You do not have to walk from one end to the other.

quicker to walk but I thought the boats ran a loop from rainforest cafe to up around wolfgangs and on to behind Paradiso restaurant. I know this won't help you if your at lego store. But you could ride the boat back from wolfgangs to Paradiso on the way back.:goodvibes

Walking end-to-end from MktPl to Westside is only about 3/4 mi. Lego is almost on the border of PI, so the walk to DQ is less than 1/2 mi.

There is shuttle boat service amongst all 3 docks: MktPl, PI, and Westside. But Lego is midway between the MltPl & PI docks, and getting on the boat at PI would only save you about 1/4 mi. walking.

If you're deeper into the MktPl when you head to DQ, then taking the boat from the MktPl dock might be worthwhile.

If you walk, pay no attention to the empty buildings behind the temporary stages/plants on PI. Nothing to see here, move along:confused3

Which is less that walking all the way around Showcase Lagoon at Epcot.

We've walked between the Marketplace and DQ and it's not that long. Lots of shops and restaurants to check out.

Thanks for all the replies! I have arthritis and will be using an ecv on our other park days. I want just one day with out being tied to it, so we will just drive from one end to the other.

Thanks again!

Driving from one end to the other may very well not help. Even if you have a parking permit, disabled parking is not necessarily convenient.

I have a rather severe mobility issue, with a fused hip/other nearly fused lower joints, and I'd easily choose to walk DTD rather than try to move vehicles.

You might have your travel companion come back and pick you up on one end so it's only a one-way walk.

I'd suggest going into parking entrance 2 (Pleasure Island), and parking near the entrance walkway between T-Rex & Pollo Campero. That's some of the closest parking to Lego, and there's usually space available not too far out.

Then you can just take the perimeter road down to DQ, but I don't know how parking availability is down at that end.

Those are great tips! Thank you very much :)
