Is getting a cab the easiest and least expensive way to go back and forth? There will be 5 in our party.

Thanks and I'm getting excited...only 12 days to go! :cool1:

I'm jealous!!! I think a cab should cost around $35. You could also get a Mears shuttle which is abit cheaper but when there's five of you it would work out more expensive.

Have fun.

Mears Transportation provides a fare estimator for their taxi. Here's Mears' fare estimator web page: http://www.mearstransportation.com/TaxiFareEstimator.asp

Another option, for a little more money, is to book a town car service. Service costs around $100 roundtrip, more or less depending on which service you use.

The benefit of using a town car service is that some offer a 30 minute grocery stop. We usually will get soda and water, and a styrofoam cooler to keep the drinks cool in the room. We'll also get chips and snack too.

We used Tiffany Towncar when we stayed at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. I believe their website tells you how much it will cost to get to the various hotels. We had 4 people. I don't know if you would need a larger than normal size car if you have 5 people taking a taxi or using a towncar service.

(By the way, we love Tiffany Towncar and have used it more than once.)

We've either always used Mears or Disney's Magical Express to get from MCO to the parks so we've never needed a taxi from the airport to our destination. I'm assuming that MCO is like all other airports I've ever been to and that they will have taxis avaiable to drive us to Royal Pacific. Right? (hey, it doesn't hurt to double check) :)

We would prefer not to use Mears as they can get pricey and the last time we used them, well, their customer service left alot to be desired. And when we used a Town Car service last (first and last time we did that!) there was a miscommunication and we ended up missing our flight.

So since then, we've always used ME or gotten a taxi when we travel. We've just never used a taxi at MCO.
