Getting from LAX to DLR?

How/what would you recommend to get from LAX to DLR if you were not renting a car? and how much do you think it'll cost?

We used Disneyland Resort Express (Grayline Anaheim).

For 2 adults and 3 kids we purchased a return family ticket on their website for $99.

I take it you were happy with them. How long did it take to get to your hotel after you landed? And how early do they leave for your return to LAX?

Yes, we've used them 4 times now and no complaints.

I think it took about 45 minutes to get to our hotel (HOJO most recently) after we got onto the bus. That was on a Monday evening around 6pm.

There are buses scheduled hourly for departures to LAX. We had an international flight, so we had to leave for LAX way early (I think about 4 hours before our flight just to be safe).

what do you think the return time would be if we had say a noon return flight (domestic flight)

No idea, sorry. I've never been on a domestic flight within the US (except in Hawaii years ago) and have no idea of check in times etc.

I'd recommend Disneyland Resort Express as well.

As for what time to leave - the recommendation is to arrive 2 hours ahead for an internal, 3 hours for international. The estimate given is 1 hour travelling according to their leaflet and the buses depart the Disneyland hotel on the hour.

So - you'd be wanting to get a bus leaving the Disneyland hotel at either 9am (scheduled to arrive at 10am) or possibly 8am to be sure (arrive at 9am).

The buses do pick up from just about all hotels in the area - pickup is anything up to 1/2 hour before the departure time from the Disneyland hotel, so that would make it 7:30/8:30 from your hotel

If you have more than 4 people in your group you may be better off renting a limo. You can get one from LAX to DLR for around $100. No waiting around for up to an hour!
